My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ali is a very handsome neutered male piggie looking for a female companion (we will not adopt him out alone). A local shelter determined that he was aggressive and was going to euthanize him but our understanding is that a volunteer spooked him and he snapped at her. We have found him to be gentle and friendly but we believe he will do best in a home without young children that might scare him.

He is a 4 year old dark brown, tan and white Abyssinian piggie. Ali is working on becoming less shy but when he knows veggies are coming he will come and stand on the bars of the cage to try and get some! He also loves lap time and will happily lay down and be petted for as long as you like.

Ali has an excellent appetite for his Oxbow pellets and Timothy hay. Some of his favorite vegetables include romaine lettuce, celery, and green peppers but there isn't a vegetable that he won't try! Ali will need to live in a Rescue-required Cubes and Coroplast cage of at least 2 cubes by 4 cubes located in a room the family spends time in so everyone can enjoy his company.
