Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Heidi came to us as a breeder surrender. We don't really know what her previous life was like, but from the way she looked and how sad she was when we first picked her up it must have been a terrible life. They had chopped her hair off into a terrible mess and cut her nails so short they were bleeding. We figured they were trying to clean her up so we didn't see how bad of shape she was in. Her little tail didn't even wag for the first couple of days we had her. Once we had given her a bath and a soft bed she bloomed into a beautiful little flower. It's been a little over two weeks now and she is a very happy girl. She will even pick up a toy and do a little crazy dog run. Her coat is starting to grow back in and she is doing great. We took her in for her wellness check and she checked out great. She is heartworm and lime negative. Heidi is current on her vaccinations, deworming, heartworm and flea prevention. She is good with other dogs but doesn't play much with them. She will keep to herself most of the time. She doesn't care for a puppy to be all over her she likes her space, so no overbearing dogs for her! She is crate trained but we would prefer her not to live in a crate since she has lived her life in a cage producing babies. We want Heidi to go to a home where she can have the unconditional love she should have had from day one. Heidi has a spay appointment scheduled with our vet on September 18th. If she is still with us at that time of course the vetting will be done. If she is adopted before then she will go home on a spay contract and the adopter will be responsible for her spay within 20 days. We will adjust her adoption fee to help towards her spay.
