My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Piper! Piper was adopted as a puppy from a rescue about a year ago. When the "family" decided they no longer wanted her (why,we have no idea...she has been as good as gold for us), they took her back to the rescue, which was overcrowded. The people then threatened to take her to a high kill shelter. Charming. A volunteer took her and brought the sweet girl to us and now she's a proud SAFE girl. She's a Blue Heeler mix and is almost a year and a half old. She is spayed, UTD on shots, heartworm negative and has a terrific temperament. She is great with other dogs and people, cats not so much, but we don't blame her. They come up to the fenced area where she stays and tease her. She rides well in the car and mainly just wants to play and love. You can't beat that. Please go to safehaveky@gmail.com to request an application.
