My story

ADOPTON PENDING Rachel is a very flat faced Persian girl who would love to have a new home as an only kitty. Rachel was stressed out when we first got her, but now that we've been able to get to know her a little better, we've decided she can be a affectionate and loving - it depends on her mood. She does have times when she can be unpredictable and strike out at you. She does not like to be groomed or have her nails trimmed, and that can trigger anxiety and striking out by Rachel. Perhaps the only thing she likes more than playing with teaser wands is eating! What a pleasure to foster a cat who loves to eat, and is demanding at dinner time! Rachel needs an experienced adopter who understands cats and is patient during the adoption transition. She is not good with most other cats, except the two semi-ferals she's friends with, or other cats with a super slow introduction. She should not be around children.

Our adoption events are held on alternating Saturdays of each month, at Centinela Feed and Pet Supplies in Santa Monica, from NOON to 3:30. Our next adoption events are SATURDAY November 17, December 1 and December 15, 2018. The Santa Monica Centinela Feed store is located at 1448 Lincoln Blvd.,just south of Santa Monica Blvd. There is parking in back of the store.....Hope to see you there!
