My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi everyone, I is Bonx and I am the most special boi! I have one eye that mostly looks and works normally, and one that's a bit dead. It just stares off into the distance, helps me with my psychic powers, ya know. I'm not always the most coordinated guy in the world, but my stumbling and lack of dexterity only adds to my charm. I enjoy long naps, cuddling in my foster mom's lap, and yelling loudly while I carry around the toys I've killed to show off what a great hunter I am. I love other kitties and will gladly cuddle them and be their friend, but I'm also a gentle soul, so my feelings get hurt really easily if they don't like me back. After all, how could they not love a sweet guy like me? But more than anything, I love my hoomans. I follow my foster mom everywhere, I talk to her all the time, and if I can't sit in her lap, I sleep in my cat bed next to her computer and make her hold hands with me. Sometimes when I sleep, I go face down, flat into the carpet or cushion. Don't be alarmed. It's how the Bonxes sleep. I'm a little shy in new places and sudden movements scare me (my psychic eye can't see movement in real time). But if you have tasty treats, I forget all about the scary things and happily munch on treats. If you're looking for a special kitty to join your life, please apply for me and take me home! Life is not complete without a Bonx in it! Adoption fee: $75. Adopt a pair: $110. Fee includes testing, deworming, vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchip and 30 days of free pet insurance.

Adoption Process: Complete the application at www.pawsforliferescue.org. We then arrange a location, date and time for you to meet some pets. If the meeting goes well and everyone is happy, you begin the mandatory, minimum two-week adjustment period with the pet as part of your family. You will pay the non-refundable adoption fee at the start of the two-week adjustment period. This pending period allows your new dog or cat time to adjust to their new home, new people, new routine, etc., and for you to decide if it's a match and the right pet for you. At the end of two weeks (some people extend the adjustment time as needed and that's fine too), if everyone is happy, then we finalize the adoption. Feel free to email if you have any questions.
