My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kitten is a 6 year old diluted tortoise shell with the sweetest personality! She loves nothing more than a good lap to snuggle on! She greets us at the door every day and loves to follow us from room to room, just to be where here people are.
Unfortunately she has been unable to adjust to life with young children entering the home. Shortly after a baby came home, Kitten was diagnosed with Chronic idiopathic cystitis, a medical condition with re-occurring bladder stones. Kitten will need to remain on prescription food for maintenance of this issue, as well as anti-anxiety medicine as this condition is largely stressed-based. Her condition has been unable to be controlled in her current environment, and she has been very sick off and on since a baby entered her home. Her vet is very hopeful that returning to a quiet home without young children will alleviate many of her medical issues. For this reason she would be best suited in a childless home, or a home with older children. She has not been in a home with cats since she was very young, so other cats are mostly an unknown. She seems to not be bothered by the family dog- probably because the dog is very quiet and laid back as she prefers.
