My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:


Sammy is a great dog. He is 50% Black Lab and 50% Border Collie. His dad is a working cattle dog. We have had Sammy for 2 years. He is very loving, and very smart. He loves to play.

We rescued an older abused dog a while back. The 2 dogs get along great, but for some reason Sammy has to mark his territory everywhere the other dog has been. This includes inside our house. Due to this issue, we can no longer have Sammy inside at all. It is not fair to Sammy, as he is very loving and has a huge heart. He just doesn't understand why he cannot play inside and has to stay in the crate.

Sammy needs to find a new home with loving parents who have the time to play (he is very active), and does not have another dog so he does not feel the need to mark his territory (The marking was not a problem until we got the other dog).

Sammy is also great with kids.
