Meet Belle! She is an 11-month-old 55lb Australian Shepherd. Belle is an owner surrender due to her activity level. Belle is looking for an active home, she is going to need mental and physical stimulation to help her succeed. She is very smart and would probably be fantastic at agility! Belle loves water and other dogs! She does fine with cats, but will chase if they run. She doesn't try to hurt them and we are correcting that behavior. She has had professional training at Intermountain Mannered Mutts and is pretty well behaved. She is still a puppy and will chew things if left unattended. We are looking for a family that will continue her training and hopefully has another playful dog that is about the same size as Belle. She would also do best in a home with kids over 8 years old as she can be a little bouncy and knock little ones over. Belle is house trained, crate trained, and completely vetted.
Please no apartments, condos, or mobile home parks. A home check is required. Yolo County adopters preferred, but will consider other locations. If you are more than 100 miles away from Yolo County please be aware that there may be a small additional expense associated with travel cost.
If you are interested in Belle, email us and we will send you an adoption application. (include your location in the email) The adoption fee for Belle is $600.
*Vetting includes: Neuter/spay, microchip, age appropriate vaccinations, deworming, heartworm test, flea preventative, heart worm preventative (including the remainder of their 6-month supply), and any other necessary vet care.
