Meet Bandit! Bandit is a very handsome young boy, about 1-1/2 years old, who really wants to find his own forever home! Bandit was being given away on Facebook as a free dog because the owner supposedly couldn’t afford him. We offered food, but the owner said he didn’t have time for him. We offered food while we could find him a foster or new home, but the owner said if Bandit wasn’t gone in three days, he would be put down, and eluded to using a bullet to do so. We found an emergency foster to save Bandit from his horrible owner and went to work getting him healthy. Bandit had been living in a crate, sometimes up to 12 hours at a time, and was very underweight. However, he was still so sweet and loveable! Bandit is friendly and playful with other dogs, both male and female, and is full of energy but submissive. He really likes kids and doesn’t seem to mind calmer cats. We have no idea what Bandit’s breed mix is but he’s a whole lotta handsome! He currently weighs about 55-60 lbs. Bandit needs an active family with a young, playful dog sibling and a fenced yard where he can run and play! He is housetrained, crate-trained, and walks well on leash when properly handled. Bandit is fully vetted including neuter, de-worm, combo and rabies shots, heartworm check, and microchip with lifetime registration. Adoption fee is $150 to cover cost of vetting.
