My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cody is a 3-4 years old, 20 lb. Chippet - Chihuahua/Whippet mix. We have the DNA test to prove it! This charming and sweet wannabe lap dog was rescued from the Contra Costa Animal Shelter in July 2018.

Cody’s favorite activities include stretching his legs (running and walking), cuddling, counter-surfing and chasing cats. Cody needs an experienced and understanding adopter willing to work with his separation anxiety, which has improved with a routine and crate-training. Cody is a gentle, playful, happy-go-lucky pup - not defined by his separation anxiety!

The Power of Chi will provide Cody's adopter with some training sessions to ensure he is set-up for success in his forever home. However, Cody will not do well being left alone for long periods of time – so his ideal owner/owners would work from home, take him to work, have a staggered schedules or be retired.
