Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Meet Shane!! She is a 2 year old Doberman Pinscher. Shane is highly trainable, food/ball driven, good with cats, crate and house trained, good with other dogs with proper introduction although she will guard ball/toys. Shane is also good with bath, having her nails clipped and enjoys cuddling. She can be slow to warm up to strangers but has been getting much better with training/socialization. Shane is still slightly anxious but definitely improving. She needs quite a bit exercise and someone to continue working thru her anxious tendencies. She loves the pack on (trainer can show you this) and biking. She has had 30 days of professional training at Intermountain Mannered Mutts and she is also being fostered by Teresa, our trainer. We are looking for a special home for Shane, someone who is very active and will commit to working with our trainer to help transition Shane to her new home. An adult only home would probably be best for Shane.
Please no apartments, condos, or mobile home parks. A home check is required. Yolo County adopters preferred, but will consider other locations. If you are more than 100 miles away from Yolo County please be aware that there may be a small additional expense associated with travel cost.
If you are interested in Shane, email us and we will send you an adoption application. (include your location in the email) The adoption fee for Shane is $550.
*Vetting includes: Neuter/spay, microchip, age appropriate vaccinations, deworming, flea preventative, heart worm preventative (including the remainder of their 6-month supply), and any other necessary vet care.
