Sweet Thelma was rescued along with Louise after they were abandoned by their owners .. the girls made their way to the streets in a desperate attempt to find food, water, and shelter.. we had to step in asap to keep them from being picked up by hog dog hunters and dog fighters.. they are now safe with our rescue.. we need qualified/experienced adopters to give these awesome girls a forever home.. we will be extremely careful about who they go to.. so please understand if you would like to adopt Thelma or Louise .. the following steps will be taken (no exceptions): phone interview, application, home visit, vet reference check, personal references, and adoption contract.. they've already had a rough life by having their ears cut off and being bred several times.. we will do everything in our power to make sure they are adopted as family members and will be taken care of.. the girls are spayed, completely vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm negative, on flea/heartworm prevention, and have been dewormed.. please contact Jody @ 352-316-5155 if you would like to meet them..
