My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi. My name is Bousey! I am a 3 year old Pretty Mix (previous Shelter says I am mixed with Mastiff). I came to the HCHS from another shelter. I was very shy when if first entered the shelter. Everything was so new and scary. It took a little time to adjust but, I realized how many people love me and that I am safe. At first, I would run to the outside part of my kennel when people would come visit. Now I greet people at the front of my kennel, usually with a nylabone in my mouth and tail wagging. I see my friends leaving with their new families and I’m ready for someone to pick me. My new friends at the HCHS say I’m a good girl and they have really showered me with so much love.

I do know basic commands but I would probably benefit from some refreshers. I am dog selective. I recently went to a very loving home, but I was not able to get along with the female dog in the home. Also, I do not like cats, so a home without cats is required. I’m a big girl and weigh about 80 lbs. I just love people and enjoy just being with someone.
