So I'm not sure if my name is Claude or "You Sure Are A Handsome Man." I hear both a lot. I'm a 2 year old mutt who I'm told looks like a beautiful dog

I was sprung from Franklin County Dog Shelter in January because I was heartworm positive. Every Dog Matters got me the treatment I needed and I'm just about to get a clean bill of health and get neutered.

I'm looking for an active family who will take me on hikes (with a little leash training) and give me plenty of exercise. I already know a few basic commands, and I'm a pretty smart cookie, so as long as you HAVE cookies, I'm willing to listen to whatever you say.

Because of my size and energy, I might not be a good fit for a house with small children. I'd hate to accidentally knock one over. I would need to meet any dogs in your home already to make sure that I'm more handsome than they are, and to make sure that my in-your-face attitude is ok.
