My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi Everyone!! My name is Rebel and I am a beautiful grey cockatiel. No one sure how old I am, but that's okay. I am a very spunky little bird and I love to sing and get attention.

I make some real crazy noises that you would not expect to hear from a bird. When my foster Mommy realizes where the noises are coming from – ME – she just starts to laugh, and I continue with my crazy sounds. I am generally a quiet bird because I prefer to make silly noises and sing!

My new house has lots cool toys and perches and I am very happy! You see I never had toys or more than one perch before, so this new home is awesome. My new surroundings are pretty neat, and I’ve adjusted very quickly. They even have lots of other animals in my foster home – dogs, cats, other birds, and even one of those mini pigs!!

My foster Mommy tells me that I have very good eating habits when it comes to my pellets. YUMMY!!! For my treats I get millet and at times nutiberries. Life is great!! I am still resisting these things my foster mommy calls fruits and vegetables but she keeps trying. Maybe someday I will surprise her and actually eat some of them.

An avian veterinarian has properly vetted all birds before they are placed up for adoption. Adoption fees include the bird’s cage IF the bird has a cage - most do, but please ask!
