Meet Honey! This adorably sweet and wonderful girl is a doll of a dog whom loves anything and everyone she meets! Honey was rescued when she was brought to the shelter after being hit by a car. Her rear right leg could not be saved so they amputated, but she has since made a full recovery and it doesn't slow her down in the slightest! She is a fun-loving, adventurous, eager to please pup that LOVES being outside and spending time with her people! Nothing else in the world would make her more happy then to find an amazing life and family of her own!

Honey is the perfect dog in the perfect little package. She is a smaller version of the black lab and all of her traits and disposition align with your typical Labrador Retriever. She gets along great with everyone, and we mean everyone! She has never met a person that she didn't automatically fall in love with. She is empathetic and loves to give kisses when you are having a bad day, just to bring a smile back to your face and happily follows you around the house! She is very friendly when it comes to meeting other dogs, sometimes almost too much so. She is immediately trying to make friends and wants to play! So she doesn't have trouble making any friends, except for when she takes off with their toy and instigates a game of chase! She also gets along fine with cats.. She gives them their space and ignores them when asked, but doesn't mind a game of play if they are up for it! She is fine with children of all ages as well, and is gentle with the smaller ones, and all for playing fetch with the older ones. She would make an amazing family pet for any home and lifestyle.

She loves to run and play, and especially loves the water. She is a great swimmer and enjoys the rugged outdoor life, typical to her Labrador breed! She does play fetch and most times will bring it back to you, the other times she's just off enjoying a run and is waiting for another dog to play toy tag with! She is also very smart and knows some of her basic obedience commands such as sit, down, and stay. She does know her recall and for the majority of the time is responsive but some days she can't resist chasing that squirrel or rabbit through the property! She's the perfect adventure pup for someone looking to have fun!

Honey is fully vetted meaning she is spayed, microchipped, up to date on all shots and currently on monthly flea, tick and heartworm prevention. For more information on how to adopt or foster please contact us at MokasMission@Gmail.com.
