There is only one word to describe Jon, FUN! A domestic short hair tabby, roughly 1-2yrs of age, this guy adores his playtime. When he hears the sound of a bell, or crinkly kitty toy, he will come racing to play. He is athletic and enjoys chasing and bouncing after all sorts of toys. When visitors come over he is usually right at the door or the window, meowing to greet them and say hello. Unless of course he is deep in sleep from a long session of play.
Jon gets along with people of all ages but he especially loves children. He is gentle, and doesn't mind being picked up or held. In fact, he prefers it! So much so that it is not uncommon to be washing dishes and soon feeling that familiar furry face nudging you before the paws reach out. He enjoys being involved in all activities, including naps, work outs, lounging on the couch or business calls! He also thoroughly enjoys his feline and canine friends and has no fear or issues adjusting to new siblings. He is more forward than most cats, and even the dogs are sometimes taken aback. He will happily enjoy a snuggle with them on their bed or in their kennel when nap time is around, and if they allow. His only "poor habit" is that he is overly friendly at times, if you can even call it that. He is the sweetest, friendliest boy you could look for. He would do well in a home that had time for him, and a family of any size or style! He would make the perfect cat for children!
Jon is also what we call a smooth talker. If he has any needs of any kind, he kindly will let you know. He will meow until you follow him to the designated area of his needs.
Jon is very smart, and needs an owner who can give him the love and devotion he deserves. He is fully vetted meaning he is neutered, up to date on vaccines, FeLV/FiV Negative and current on monthly flea and heartworm prevention.
