This adorable little girl is all yorkie and full of life, fun, and loyalty! Though only 10 lbs, we hope your heart can handle all the love this little dog can bring even with her small stature. At only a year and a half old, LadyBelle has energy to bring for fun, and plenty of downtime for naps in between! She is a very well socialized, affectionate dog who enjoys cuddling during downtime, and playing with her foster siblings when she is feeling energetic.
Unlike most terriers, Ladybelle is not a whiney or "yippy" small dog. She very rarely barks, so much so that it's a real treat to hear her use her voice. She is also not nippy at all, and is extremely gentle when it comes to things such as children. She absolutely adores them in fact, and immediately bonds and becomes attached with them. She will follow them around the house, laying in their lap or at their feet when they are asleep, and licking their tears away when they are sad. She was even tested with children with disabilities and passed with flying colors!
She gets along well with other dogs of all sizes, and although the large breeds can be a little intimidating at first, they make great bed warmers and cuddle buddies! She is always eager to share a bed with them, doesn't mind sharing treats or toys, and is happy to play with all. She enjoys little dogs and especially enjoys her feline friends as well. She was raised alongside cats as a puppy and loves playing together. She has even made friends with her foster's ferret!
LadyBelle is eager to please and very attached to her humans. She learns quickly and is highly motivated using positive reinforcement and food rewards. She is already crate and leash trained, and is good off leash once she is bonded with her human. She takes treats gently so continued training with the entire family, including kids, will be safe, easy, and fun!
