1996 bay Thoroughbred gelding. 16 hands. Star, stripe, LH spot on heel.
Commander is a smart horse with a good work ethic. While he has been a backyard 'pet' for the last three years, he's ready to go back to work. He is sound and has a nice transition between gaits. Commander is a predictable ride and his temperament makes him a suitable mount for most riders. Beginning June 1, we will be reschooling him under saddle. He is easy to maneuver with voice and leg cues, and he has a soft mouth and wonderful demeanor. While green, with the appropriate schooling, Commander would be suitable for a variety of disciplines. As he progresses through schooling, his placement fee will be adjusted to reflect his experience. If you are able to complete his schooling, now would be the time to choose Commander. Note: He is a moderate cribber.

RESPONDS TO: Voice, leg, hands, weight. Needs refresher on basics and reschooled for a particular discipline.

RIDER EXPERIENCE LEVEL: Intermediate.

POTENTIAL DISCIPLINES: Hunter, jumper, show, trail.

Placement fee: $400
