Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi, I’m Bailey! I’m a 11-12 years young, 18-pound ADORABLE Terrier-Poodle mix who loves to explore! My journey didn’t start like this… before Beople’s Buddies rescued me, I was starting to give up on life. Many people walked past me at the shelter I think because I am a senior buddy and maybe also because I have a heart condition. My foster mum says it’s my heart that makes me so special… every beat has the most loving vibration. I have an echo scheduled though to find out more about my heart and if there’s anything to worry about. When Beople’s rescued me I was severely dehydrated and lethargic and they had to rush me to the vet! Honestly, it’s hard for me to remember because I was really out of it. At the vet office I got lots of fluids and medicine, which helped, but I had to go back the next day for more. At first I needed a lot of rest, but I have been getting stronger and stronger every day! I love to roam around the house and find somewhere new I haven’t seen before… and I never tire of finding all the water bowls my foster mum placed throughout the house and taking drinks out of each one! Stairs can be difficult for me to go down, but going up is no problem. I get along with the other pups in my home and love my food. I do appreciate a couple lights on during the night because I have one eye that doesn’t work so well and it makes it easier to get around. I know the PAWfect forever home has to be out there for me. In a world where one day I had almost given up and the next, I had people taking care of me and telling me how special I am… well, it makes me believe in soul mates and that someday I’ll have that great kind of love I hear every buddy talking about.
