My story

Hi! I'm Lavender!

I regrettably started the first year of my life as a yard ornament. It was a hard-knock life. 'Steada treated, I got tricked! Empty belly, ‘Steada full! I had no folks to speak of and I came to the shelter as just another stray with demodectic mange.

Tomorrow came and I got me a foster home where I’ve gotten the goods to kill those skin mites, have grown most of my hair back, am getting two squares a day and am becoming the beautiful girl I was always meant to be!

With the help of my foster peeps, I’m figuring out how to be a dog. So far, I've learned how to play with toys and eat out of a slow feeder bowl (sort of). I love my foster sister and will do best in a home with another dog. I LOVE to play and am learning my basic manners. I'm amazing in my crate!

I’m all ready to join your family! Once you meet me, you will be unable to resist my charms.
