My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ruby is a very sweet, affectionate 5-year-old German Shepherd female on the smaller side, weighing 45 lbs. She absolutely loves her humans and devotedly follows them everywhere. Ruby does great when meeting new people and accepts them with no problem; she also loves having visitors and is good with kids. This sweet girl is pretty independent, so she has no problem being alone at home while her people are working all day: she just hangs out, chills, and, like the mannerly and mature lady she is, she is not destructive when left alone. While you’re busy running errands, Ruby is perfectly content to be all by herself in the yard, as she won’t jump or run away. She takes treats very gently, walks well on leash, and is good with other dogs. When she sees them for the first time, during her outings, she might bark, occasionally, but that’s easily correctable. When it comes to cats, Ruby will chase them when she first makes their acquintance, but once she knows them she will accept them as members of the family. This remarkable girl will be a great companion for someone looking for a calm, sweet dog.
