Have you ever seen such big, beautiful eyes? If love had a name it would be Sierra. This gal was brought into the shelter as a stray. The lady who found her just cried and cried when she turned her in. She was so struck by Sierra’s sweetness and gentle spirit, but she herself had no way of keeping her.
Sierra is one of those dogs who you just have to throw a dart at the breed chart and pick something to call her. She does have a docked tail and muscular back legs like a Boxer, but her coloring is definitely, maybe, could be Hound or Shepherd….? Whatever else she is, Sierra is a good dog.

The animals at the shelter have five days to find a home. The Humane Society of Cherokee County, Inc., is the rescue and adoption agent for this shelter. We are trying to save as many animals as possible from this shelter by adoption. The $75 adoption fee includes all rabies, DHPP and bordatella vaccinations, spay or neuter, microchip, and heartworm test.
