What can we say about Sam besides that he's happy as a bee and super low key? This 12 yr old chi mix loves food and gets along with everyone he meets. He's currently being fostered in a home with a cat & a dog, as well as an active toddler. Because Sam is a bit older (and seems to be a bit sensitive near his hip/back legs), it would be best for Sam to be in a home with adults or respectful school aged kids. Although he can often be found watching over the toddler when he naps, 2 year olds are too unpredictable for a sweet soul like OldSam.

Sam is young at heart, loves to go for walks and would be content chilling on the couch, your bed, or his doggie bed. Sam was an owner surrender who almost didn't make it out of the shelter alive. He has a slow, non aggressive cancer but has definitely still a lot of fun years to live. .He's got a friendly attitude and is enjoying his second chance at life. Did we mention how sweet and good hearted this dog is?

Sam is just a happy little dude. He's low maintenance and happy to be alive! His tumor has been removed, he's under no treatment, does not require medications, is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped! He's ready to go to a family who will love him through his golden years!
