My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Orville is a skinny little white guy. He came into the shelter emaciated, with horrible smelly teeth. And a tumor the size of a quarter on his back leg. He was scared of his foster at first, and would cringe when someone would try to approach him.

A visit to the vet found out that not only were Orville’s teeth bad, he had foxtails embedded in his gums that were so infected, he actually had a large sore on the outside of his cheek.

Orville went to the dentist and had the foxtails, and 19 teeth removed. The tumor was also removed. What a difference a dentist makes!

Orville can not get enough food to eat these days and while he has to eat soft food these days, he can sure snarf it down. And he’s no longer shy. In fact, he loves to cuddle! For the most part, he is a very quiet dog and he gets along with other dogs. You have to when you weigh only 5 pounds.

Orville is still skinny so he still needs to pull on some weight but this boy is going to be nothing but joy to whoever adopts him. All he needs is someone to love and care for him the way he has always deserved.
