Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Cody is just over two years old. I've had him and his brother Beau, since they were 8 weeks old. I treat Cody as a member of the family. He sleeps in the house, usually on my bed. I often wake up in the morning to find him laying next to me on his back with his legs up in the air and his head tucked into my arm pit. During the day, if he's in the house, he's usually sitting on the couch.
He loves the pool and usually spends a few hours a day in the pool. He actually swims laps around the perimeter and loves to play with his food dish and toys. He purposely pushes them into the pool then jumps in and dives to the bottom of the pool to retrieve it. He loves to lie on his back so I can scratch his neck and belly.
In 2017, he spent a month at doggie boot-camp learning some of the basic commands such as sit, down, stay and heal. He/s leash trained, but I generally don't use the leash unless we're going somewhere.
