My basic info
Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hola Amigos! My name is Cuca and I will tell you so over and over again! I am a beautiful, adult Cherry Head Conure. No one knew my name when I first came to Rescue but I quickly let my foster mommy know it's Cuca! When I arrived to FPR I was not in the best of health, but the wonderful FPR volunteers took good care of me and now I am happy, healthy and ready to go to my forever home.
I have a very large and clear vocabulary. I can say at least 20 words, but only in Spanish! I am very talktive but I must warn you that sometimes I can be a bit LOUD!!! Therefore, I must be adopted into a single family home. Condos, apartments, or duplexes would not be a good fit for me.
I will happily step up once I am out of my cage. I love to hang out on your arm and will watch television with you-especially the Spanish channel!
I love fruits, especially pineapple and apples (just don’t forget to take the seeds out of the apples as they could be harmful to me). I am still on the fence about these things called “pellets", but I learned if I dunk them in water they aren't THAT bad. I also like veggies as long as they are bright and colorful like me!
I would do best in a family where I can be the center of attention. I do get along with other pets, but this is the Cuca show and I am all that really matters! If you're interested in meeting me, please go ahead and fill out an application on our website.
Below is my Amazon wish list. It is filled with toys, treats and other items that would make me very happy. You do want me to be happy, don’t you?

An avian veterinarian has properly vetted all birds before they are placed up for adoption. Adoption fees include the bird's cage IF the bird has a cage - most do, but please ask!
