This beautiful kind sweet boy has a rough story. He was found tied to oil gold equipment. The works though he was mean because he would growl at them. On man took the time to gain his trust and realized he was badly injured. The man stated looking for help and gave Volt his ride out of hell. KTHR took him in and got him to our vet when it was discovered that yes indeed the leg was broken to our horror there were two pellets in his hip and fragments of a high caliber round. Volt had been shot 3 times. Because the bone was in so many paces and the leg was so infected the best thing for Volt was to remove the leg. The surgery was very successful and he stated feeling better right away.
He is so amazing he has been through so much but has nothing but love to give. He loves affection food and stuffed animals.
He walks well on a leash. He is on joining supplements to help keep his joints healthy
