Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Drogo! He is an amazingly handsome big boy. He’s a 1.5 year old Double Merle Aussie with beautiful bright blue eyes. His sight is slightly visually impaired and he’s partially deaf. This does not stop him from being extremely active! He loves to play with other dogs but has not been cat tested. Our guess is that he would not do well with cats as he would probably try to herd them and chase them. He is in need of a dog savvy family who can help him through “positive reinforcement” some basic manners. His deafness will make this a little more difficult – so patience will be required. If left alone he gets bored and will find something (perhaps destructive) to do – for this reason crating may be needed, although he does not like being crated unless it is feeding time or bedtime (no dog beds needed for this guy… he chews them up). He needs an active family and would do very well with any other dogs. He must have a backyard with a tall, very secure wood fence (no exceptions) as he can climb a chain link fence easily. He should never be left alone outside for long periods of time unsupervised as he is not a loner dog – he’s very social. He loves being with his people and other dogs most all the time. He weighs about 48 lbs and that seems to be an ideal weight for him. He is on a high quality, grain free diet and that is what he needs to stay on for a healthy coat and intestinal balance.
