Nitro is all puppy but with a special twist - he is deaf. He has lots of energy, loves to play and romp. Loves his humans, tries very hard to please them. He has been learning sign language and takes his queues off the other dogs around him. We hesitate to call him special needs because all he needs is what every dog needs - a home to keep him safe and treat him as part of the family. An adequately fenced yard will make things much simpler. But more importantly, he needs a family that is willing to help him live up to his full doggy potential and that might take some non standard steps and patience. There are some great resources out there for deaf dogs - tools to help compensate for their lack of hearing, educational pages like www.deafdogsrock.com.  Are you up for being a super hero for Nitro?
