Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Daddy was at Harbor Animal Shelter when he was a baby, put on death row to be
euthanized when he was only four weeks old. He was rescued and has since grown into a happy, healthy bunny who his looking for the perfect home and the perfect wife.
When BWF rescued Daddy from a shelter, he was an unnamed baby bun and at risk of being put down simply because of an unexplained scab on his back. BWF saved him from bunny death row, had him examined by a trusted vet, and when he was given a clean bill of health, he was introduced to a group of four female bunnies similar in age, and was dubbed “Daddy”. He was exploring his new digs, getting to know his new girls, and binking his worries away in no time. He was happy to be alive and he sure wasn’t afraid to show it.
Daddy is a quiet and cautious little dwarf bun whose black and white pattern is reminiscent of a starry night. He likes to explore new surroundings thoroughly and binks to let you know that he approves. Daddy seeks love and affection, sometimes to a fault. He loves to be petted and held and cuddled and would do best in a quiet, relaxed household, preferably with a friendly bunny wife and other family members to play and nap with.
Because of his young age, he’s currently on a diet of unlimited oxbow alfalfa-based pellets for young rabbits and unlimited alfalfa hay, but Timothy hay has been gradually added to his diet. His favorite veggies to eat are organic dandelion greens and organic cilantro. He also eats organic spring mix, but he doesn’t bink nearly as much. As for treats, he enjoys traditional oats, itty bitty pieces of carrots and banana. He loves chewing on apple sticks and all things cardboard.
Daddy’s calm and affectionate demeanor makes him a great addition to any family. Once he’s fully explored the space and you’ve gained his trust, nothing makes him happier than to be your cuddlebug and napping buddy.
