PURR BOY as an 8 week old kitten was found in the middle of a street. A man picked him up and saw what looked to be an injured front leg. He took the kitten to a vet. The vet said that the leg was broken, the kitten was in pain and needed to be euthanized. The man left the vet facility with the LIVE kitten.
He called a person he knew in rescue. This person suggested he take the kitten to her vet, who happens also to be Fortunate Feline’s vet. Once Dr. Baumhart had time to exam the kitten she said that the leg was NOT broken and that the kitten purred every time she touched it. Hence, he was named PURR BOY. He has nerve damage.
Kay from Fortunate Feline brought Purr Boy home to foster him. He was totally dragging the injured front right leg. Within 3 days he was no longer dragging it but using it to walk with the foot folded back.
Kay took him to a specialist for pulse magnetic therapy treatments. After several treatments no improvement was seen.
Nothing stops Purr Boy. He runs, plays, and jumps up to high places.
He loves people attention and loves to play with kittens. He especially loves Little Lexi.
When first taken to out Sat. adoption event he was very scared. The next week Little Lexi was with him in the carrier and he was much calmer.
If you have room in your heart and home for this special kitty, call Kay: 313-891-2591.
If you also have room for Little Lexi, that would be even better.
