My story

Marilyn
DOB: March 2011
Marilyn was discovered hiding in the house of a hoarder. Many of the cats are feral but sweet Marilyn was very excited to get some attention from a rescuer. Marilyn is approximately 7 years old and we believe she belonged to the mans wife prior to her passing away. At some point the house became overpopulated with cats.

Marilyn is adjusting to life in her foster home. She can lash out at other cats, it seems to be out of fear. We noticed an old bite wound on one of her ears and that she had fur missing from possible fights. She has been given her own space in foster so she feels safe. Ideally she would be an only kitty but with time she will likely do well with another calm kitty.

This lady loves to relax by an open door or window. She is thoroughly enjoying plush beds and soft blankets. She lives for face rubs and enjoys having her fluffy coat brushed. She enjoys being by your side while watching tv, and is a great reading buddy! She also loves to make biscuits before she gets comfortable. When she is super comfortable she will grace you with sweet kitty kisses. Don't let her age fool you she also enjoys to have some playtime too, especially with feather toys!

If you are looking for a mellow companion, Marilyn is the girl for you. She will need time to adjust to a new setting but all she wants is love. Show her love and she melts in your lap.

With time we believe she would do well with very mellow cats and dogs. We want her to have a calm home where she can relax and enjoy cuddle time.
