My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! My name is Jessup and I just like to smile. Smiling is my favorite. Life may not always be perfect- like sometimes when you get injured and lose one of your legs- but life is too short not to be happy. Being "three-wheel drive" as my foster mom calls it, certainly doesn't slow me down! I love to go on walks, play fetch, and get zoomies in the yard. I'm pretty sure that fourth leg was just a spare anyway. The only real downside is not being able to give a good scratch to my right ear, but that's when one of my best human friends comes in to save the day. I do well with many dogs with proper introductions, although I am young (only around one year old) and spunky and match best with a dog who is playful like me. I also stayed with a dog-savvy cat for a while and did great! I love ALL types of toys, but especially stuffy toys. I should mention I'm actually a two-for-one deal...if you adopt me you'll need to be willing to adopt my favorite "Lamb Chop" friend! I'm hard working and love to learn new tricks, especially when there are treats involved. I already know "sit", "down", and "crate." I enjoy going for long walks and laying in the soft grass to soak up the sun. I also like to go out on the town to bars or restaurants and enjoy meeting new people. At the end of the day, after all our adventures, I really love to just snuggle up on the couch or in bed with my people.
