Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This little dude is named Andy. He is 4.5 lbs full of Chihuahua attitude. We have had him since September 2017 and it took us several months to gain his trust and allow us to handle him. Now that we have gained his trust he is our friend for life. He still is very reactive to new people and it takes him a few days to warm up. He gets along great with the other dogs and we would love to see him placed with another dog friend. He will need a patient, quiet, all adult home. He absolutely loves toys. As a big bonus, he is great with his potty training and crate training. He can be very loud when he is unhappy, with strange noises, hearing new people, and in the beginning of building his trust, so an apartment or condo may not be the ideal setting for him. We are open to a foster to adopt situation, as well. He is currently on fluoxitine, which we feel has helped with reducing his anxiety. Ideally, we think he will eventually be able to be weaned off it if once he has transitioned to his forever home and settled in. Andy's adoption fee of $200 helps cover his medical care. Andy is heartworm negative, up to date on vaccinations, on flea and tick prevention, has been neutered and had a dental. He also has seen a neurologist for an assessment.
