Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Little Boy and his sister, Ania, were found living with their brother, Big Boy, in the most appalling inhumane conditions imaginable. Based on what we have learned from animal control, they were probably born in late 2015. Although we placed Big Boy in a separate home, Ania and Little Boy are very devoted to each other and we would like to keep them together. Ania, whose big soulful eyes beg for a hug, a gentle stroke, and Little Boy, with his innocent, trusting gaze, desperate for the gentle loving touch of a human hand. They love people and never get enough hugs and snuggles. Ania is a shy, pretty female, clearly a Bichon Frise mix, with a curly white non-shedding coat and weighing 12 pounds. Little Boy is a handsome outgoing white and black coated male, possibly a Bichon Frise Shih Tzu mix, weighing in at 12 pounds. They are well behaved and can usually be found snuggled together on a pillow or a bed or chasing and wrestling in the yard. They are victims of a botched “declaw” procedure when they were very young and they are missing the digits on their rear feet; the trauma left them with osteoarthritis. Little Boy also has some damage to his front feet and as a result will require a home with a fenced in grass covered yard. Their damaged feet doesn’t stop them or even slow them down and there is no reason why these two darling dogs cannot enjoy a normal life climbing stairs, chasing squirrels, jumping off furniture, splashing through puddles, digging holes and wrestling with other small dogs. Incredibly loving dogs: snuggly, affectionate, friendly and house trained, although they will need time to adjust to your household and schedule. They can tolerate a crate only for brief periods of time. Young, waggy tailed, noisy and very playful, this adorable pair is eager to find a family that can appreciate the double reward of sharing their hearts and home with these special pets. Ania and Little Boy are spayed/neutered, microchipped, current on all vaccines, heartworm and flea/tick preventative, and they have had a complete physical and dental. Their combined adoption fee is $500. These two must be adopted together; they have formed a bond that we will not break.
