Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Ronin!
This cutie was found in terrible condition as a small pup; he was suffering from mange and malnutrition and was being eaten alive by fleas and parasites. Happily, the staff at Lytle Animal Care and Control were able to nurse him back to health and he is now a lively, happy puppy ready for his forever home.
Ronin is a Shepherd mix and is approximately 5 months old. He is currently 22 lbs, but don't let his small size fool you -- he's an athlete! He loves to run, jump and play with toys and the dogs in his foster home; however, he can get jealous of the other small puppies so his preferred home is one where he'd be an only dog or maybe have just one other doggie playmate who can show him the ropes and teach him to enjoy his new life.
Ronin loves to be with his foster mom, and follows her around the house and likes to snuggle with her on the couch in the evenings. He is housetrained in his foster home with the use of a doggie door and he knows how to sit and go into his crate on command. This is a pup who is smart and eager to please so he has a lot of potential and can learn how to fit into just about any family situation.
Ronin is currently in a foster home in Lytle, TX and can be transported to your area once adopted. The adoption fee is $185 and transport, via Rescue Road Trips, is &185. Transport runs every 2 weeks and fills up fast.
If you are interested in adopting Ronin, please contact Lytle Animal Care and Control at 830-709-3832.
