Welcome Butters! Butters is a 2 year old female parakeet who is quite the acrobat! She bounces around and hangs upside down from her perch. Butters was surrendered as her family no longer had enough time for her. We are getting to know her and have started her hand training. She has been tested for Psittacosis and PBFD, and is eating a healthy diet of pellets and leafy greens. Parakeets live for 10+ years and are native to Australia. Parakeets are adoptable as singles ($30) and pairs ($50) and most come with their supplies to settle them in.
