Here's what the humans have to say about me:
IDGSR WELCOMES ARMANI INTO THE SAFETY OF THE RESCUE!!!!
PLEASE NOTE: If the dog you are interested in is online, he/she is still available and it is not necessary to email to inquire.
Armani is a GS/Lab mix puppy who is approx.1 yr. old. He was found starving and hurt in a Memphis area park with his sister, Avril who has been adopted. Since coming to the rescue Armani has been in a loving foster home and this is what his foster mom says:
"Armani is such a sweetheart. He gets along with all my dogs, little and big, and he loves to cuddle. He is house-trained and crate-trained, though doesn't need the crate anymore since he's past the chewing puppy stage. He is such a wonderful dog; my family really loves this adorable boy."
Armani is a special needs puppy. His was found with his tail partially amputated and had a broken leg that had healed improperly due to no veterinary treatment - we believe the break happened around 8 weeks of age. As he grew, the injured leg became smaller and shorter than the other leg and was affecting his ability to walk and balance. In order to give him his best life, his leg was amputated in August. After an adjustment period, Armani gets around as easily as his foster siblings with 4 legs and plays just as much as they do. NO CATS.
If you are interested in adopting Armani, please apply by CLICKING ON THE ADOPTION APPLICATION LINK AT THE TOP OF THE PAGE.
PLEASE READ. Regarding the application processing fee: IDGSR requires that all applicants submit a $20 non-refundable application processing fee. Please note that submitting an application and fee does not guarantee that you will be approved or guarantee the adoption of any specific dog, since that dog may have other applications being considered.
Each dog's adoption fee varies depending on the age of the dog.
$300 for any dog 1 year and younger (PUPPY)
$250 for any dog 1-6 years (YOUNG & ADULT)
$200 for any dog 7 years (ADULT SENIOR)
All our adoptable dogs are up to date on vaccinations, heartworm testing, monthly preventative, and have been spayed or neutered.
Everyone must submit an application before an appointment is made to meet the dogs. Dogs are introduced to prospective adopters BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.
All dogs are fostered in TN unless stated otherwise.
***Not able to adopt? Consider FOSTERING one of our four-legged friends***
Donations to help us care for all the dogs in our program are also greatly appreciated and may be made from our main petfinder page: http://IDGSR.petfinder.com
