Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Wonderful Maggie-Mae, what can we say about you? This sweet girl is six-eight years young, and was brought in to the shelter as a stray. No one came forward to claim this sweet girl, and now she is ready to begin her new life. It is apparent from Maggie’s body that she has lived a long life outside, likely as a wanderer and has had a litter or two in her younger years, but now that Maggie is safe with the Humane Society she will get the care and vetting she desperately needs. You would never know any of this from Maggie’s precious disposition. This sweet girl LOVES everyone she meets. She has gotten along well with dogs, kids, and cats and is quickly learning to love the snuggles and belly rubs of the family life. Maggie does tend to want to wander, so she would either need a fenced yard, or a committed walking buddy to help her get the exercise she needs. Don’t let her age fool you; even though this sweet girl is six-eight, she has all the love and pep in her step of a pup half her age and enjoys a good time romping and playing with her foster family, both canine and human. When the word sweetness was being crated in the English language they had Maggie-Mae in mind! Maggie is heartworm positive and will begin treatment very soon. All cost associated with treatment are covered through HSUC and she is expected to make a full recovery. Apply today to make Maggie yours forever at www.hs-uc.org
