Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
03-09-09 Snubby is a 9 year old, red & white fur-girl. She weighs 12 lbs plus a wiggle, is spayed, vaccinated, on preventatives. She is very social, happy, tail wags, rides nicely in a vehicle, is quiet, gets along with the other fur-kids. Want a cuddle buddy? A warm little bed buddy? Morning kisses and all day tail wags?? This is the girl for you. What a little sweet heart she is. Read on and give us a call!
You may copy/paste the following links in your browser to learn more about this breed:
Background: Snubby has raised pups for profit. She is now retired & looking for a home to provide a soft pillow, TLC.
Snubby has been socialized with children, crawls on her belly in her "submissive" mode for petting.
She has just arrived from another rescue. We will be posting her likes & dislikes as we learn more about her. Our updates will let you know if Snubby will be suitable for your home.
03-10 Snubby slept very quietly all night, then joined the pack after breakfast.
She has come to check e-mails yet in the submissive mode, just wags her tail, looks up.
Snubby did fairly well with older children that came to visit another pet. She does the "belly crawl" yet came up to them for petting. She makes eye contact, tail does the happy to see you wag.
03-11 Mali & Snubby arrived together, share the Kuranda bed, yet would do fine separated.
03-15 Snubby visited Ft. Timmerman for a photo session, ran about exploring, did fine with the other fur-kids including the whiskered ones.
Mali chose to stay at Ft. T as a foster child so Snubby is now having to face life without Mali, should continue just fine.
Snubby does do fairly well on the leash. Once she gains more confidence without Mali she will progress nicely.
Snubby will need to see Doc for a fresh dental.
03-16 Snubby's bed manners with a human have been checked, PAWfect bed partner! She slept quietly all night, woke up giving kisses, then outside to do her duty.

The adoption fee ranges from $175 to $325.
The fee is based upon veterinary care, age & size of dog.
The higher adoption fee on the younger small dogs helps care for the older dogs that take longer to find fur-ever homes.
Senior citizens and disabled receive a discount.
We also offer a discount to those in uniform keeping us safe.
Land of the free because of the brave.
Our adoption process begins with the e-mail or phone call to us. Please be prepared to furnish your complete name, address, telephone number, your veterinarian contact information & at least two personal references. We will then call you to ask a series of questions.
