Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Rio is purebred with papers from a reputable breeder, and so could be registered with AKC, docked tail and natural ears, very handsome and well-bred; and good-sized, currently weighs around 90 lbs (neutered). He is an excellent and natural protector, yet he is good-natured/sunny-dispositioned, very affectionate and playful. Pretty much a big goofball. His photos depict his description. Rio gets along with cats, enjoys being introduced to visitors and guests, he likes both men and women and doesn't seem too wound up about kids. Rio is housebroken and past the worst of puppy chewing stage.
He knows basic commands, heels well on leash; but a lively fellow who could always use more training. Rio loves going on walks and/or out jogging. He has always spent the evenings inside with his people and enjoys being outside to romp about during the day (weather permitting). Rio likes to ride along in vehicles and enjoys quality time snuggling on the couch or on your bed, if that is AOK by you. He crates and/or usually sleeps on his bed in the utility room.
Rio recently developed a medical emergency requiring surgery… his spleen was enlarged and beginning to twist his stomach. Surgery was successful, and he is on the mend and has a long and healthy outlook on life.
Kids 14 and older due to size
Best as an only dog.
