Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Say hello to Freddy. This adorable 2 year old Yorkie boy is 2 years old and weighs 6 lbs. Sweet Freddy is being fostered in Bradenton, FL.
UPDATED BIO 07/29/2018: Freddy is an adorable little boy who was reluctantly surrendered by his owners due to a change in their life situation, and they wanted Freddy to have a more stable and loving home.
He is very healthy and playful, although it takes him a while to warm up to new people since he hasn’t been socialized a lot. Freddy has let his Foster Dad know that he really prefers foster mom and his human foster sisters. He loves his foster dad when they are not around, but when they are, he has a tendency to bark at males. For this reason, his foster parents believe that an all-female home would be best for this little fella.
Freddy gets along with pets of all sizes, but does best with ones closer to his size and age. Freddy is young and athletic, but he also loves to cuddle with his foster parents, either on their lap or next to them on the couch. Freddy is not house-trained completely, but he is currently using doggie pee-pee-pads as his foster parent assess and work on his house-training. Freddy's adoptive parents will also need to continue with a routine and consistency so that he will learn where it is - and is not - appropriate to do his business.
Freddy is up-to-date on his vaccinations and has been neutered and microchipped. Please check back soon for an update on this sweet boy.
PLEASE NOTE THE SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES BELOW:
- Due to Freddy's tiny size, he cannot be adopted into a home with children under the age of 14 years old.
- Freddy is a very young dog and he needs a family that can give him at least a 15 year commitment of love and care.
