Maximus was surrendered in NYC by his owner and was terribly matted.  This precious boy is only 1 year old, and weighs 12 pounds.  This cute boy is happy, friendly, and calm and gets along with other dogs.  He is an independent little fellow who loves to curl up and hide if he cannot be next to his person. He is adjusting well in his foster home.  Maximus will be a handsome young man once his hair grows back in and he is able to have the typical Maltese hairdo!   

If you think this baby would be a great addition to your family, fill out an application.  Until a lucky family gets him, Maximus is being fostered in Eastampton, NJ.
