Squeakers Makes his Presence Known!
 
That's why he's named Squeakers! This rambunctious 1 year old male Maltese/Yorkie mix is high on life! He wants to play all the time. Squeakers was a stray who came to SCMR from a shelter who wanted to see him get a chance. Somehow this sweet baby ended up on the streets and has demodex and another skin infection. Of course he is being treated for both. He has been shaved down to make it easier to examine his skin. But his coat is soft and mostly champagne colored with streaks of white. He has a Maltese head but has Yorkie eyes, congnac in color. He is a little underweight at 10.5 pounds because of worms but has been treated for them. He will probably top out around 11 pounds when he is in full health. Like all babies, he loves to get his chest and tummy rubbed. And he appears to be fairly well house trained but will need further reinforcement in his new home. He walks well on a leash...must have been trained at one time. But he's a door darter, and we are working on that! He's a good boy and will stop if you are firm with him and let you pick him up. Squeakers wakes up happy and stays that way. And he will talk and talk!
