Check out a video the foster posted on facebook:
7/6/2018: Update from the foster: " She's at the marina right now, doing very well. Everyone says she has a sweet demeanor- she soaks up petting like she can't get enough. She also promptly found our dog toy box and popped her first vinyl ball, and is currently working on a deformed wiffle ball.
I thought about the crate when we first brought her in, but, she behaved extremely well right off the bat and whines when she wants to go outside. She's been extremely malleable with the house training. So, we have not set up the crate, have not had a need to."
“Darlin,” (“Be a Good Girl”) was rescued from a kill pound and currently with a foster while getting her vetting completed. We thought we would go ahead and get her listing out there as we know the sooner we can find her forever home, the better for her. So far she has shown to be very timid, cowering easily as if having been beaten. At the same time she is very sweet and really wants to connect with humans. Her fosters will be teaching her to walk on a leash and make sure she is crate and house trained, and of course, get used to being loved. She will eventually attend an adoption event . Watch for her to be scheduled or you may also contact us to meet her before an event. We really cannot adopt outside of Missouri or Illinois due to the lack of transportation options and funds to pay for it. Distance may also be a problem for doing any home visits, which can also be part of the adoption process.
