Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Adopted thank you! Well our mama was saved from the Ohio Dog Auction by these nice rescue folks. They didn't want another puppy miller to get our mama and keep breeding her nor for us to be born into puppy mills and maybe stuck there for years.
Mama was due to deliver any day. She needed a c section, and then we were all safely born! There are 4 of us girls and one boy still available. We are so cute, and playful. Most are salt and pepper, our mama was pure breed ACA registered and our daddy was a registered ACA salt and pepper schn too. We are all slightly different in color right now, but that is because we have our puppy fur and haven't had our lst grooming to see our true coloring. Mostly salt and pepper, but one or two darker maybe black and silver colorings. One has mostly a black beard with just a hint of outline in white for her beard. Of course we will all grow and things can change in our coloring, but we are definitely schnauzers.
Our rescue mom said we have been raised with loving care and our mama schnauzer was the best mama to be found. She is also looking for a forever home, and is on our web site as Charlotte, needs groomed yet, but she is a light salt and pepper schnauzer about 16 lbs. Our dad was a salt and pepper too! Both mom's grandparents have points toward championship in showing. We have been well socialized with our foster family, so we are about ready to take our leap into the outside world and our new forever families. Schnauzers are good pets, hypo allergenic, non shedding (but do need groomed about every 6 weeks) great with kids, other dogs and smart. We are not potty trained yet, but we are working on potty pads and we don't go where we sleep. So we are on our way to being house trained.
We are taking applications now to find us good homes, and we will be ready to go home in the next 2 weeks. So it isn't long before you can come pick us up and love us forever. When we receive your application, we will process it and you can come meet and pick out your new schnauzer puppy, put a deposit down and when we are ready to go pick us up. We are being fostered in Akron Ohio area.
Our adoption donation will include our dew claws removed and docked tails, vet checked when born, another vet visit for our lst shot and dewormed. Lots of loving care and socialization. As puppies, we will need 3 more puppy shots in the next few weeks and if you are close to the area you can use our local vet in Warren, Oh at our discount. We also will need our rabies shot at 6 months old. Our rescue group requires a spay/neuter deposit at the time of adoption which is refundable when you spay or neuter us before we are one year old. We don't want to have more pets running around out there, we want to be spoiled and stop the pet over population.
So email us for an application, come meet us and pick out your favorite, our personalities are just developing and we are a mix. Some calm, many playful, some bashful, but then we are puppies and not sure what we want to be when we grow up. But we definitely are pure breed schnauzers! email ronsrescued@aol.com for an application.
