Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi, my name is Bear. I am currently being fostered in Houston, TX. I am a scruffy brown color fellow. Some of my features look like a cross between an Otterhound and Tibetan Terrier. I do not know where I originally came from. A nice lady found me tied up on a porch with the chain wrapped around the posts. I was trying to jump down off the porch to greet her. So thankful she was there because I almost hung myself. I do not remember the last time I had water or food. I am very thin but my fluffy coat hides how skinny I am. I was covered in fleas. I can only tell you that I was so happy to be off of that chain, get a bath and finally get some food and water.
Fast forward a couple of days to where I was taken to a Vet Clinic. I received my vaccines, I was neutered and tested heart worm negative.
I am a happy fellow who likes other dogs but not sure about cats. I do not know if I have ever been around cats. I think I would like kids as long as they are nice to me and want to play with me.
I am ready to find my very own human or human family. I want to be a member of your family, not a back yard ornament or dangerously chained up again.
