My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dax.....  Dax is 6-7 year old lovable boy who loves people. Dax loves children and is always on their laps to get some snuggling in or to give kisses. Dax also does really well around other dogs and cats. He loves to play by himself with toys and also with other dogs. 
 
Dax is fantastically housebroken. He will scratch at the door and verbally tell you when he needs to go out and does not have any accidents in the house. He is a vocal boy who does not have a problem telling his humans what he needs or wants and can be a bit demanding of your attention.
 
Dax doesn’t really like staying home by himself, he puts up a fuss when his foster mom is about to leave, but settles down right after she’s gone. He does not care for being in a crate.  Dax would need to be adopted by someone who is home most of the day. He is not great in the car. He does better on the highway than he does in stop and go traffic. 
 
He loves to snuggle and when sleeping, he has to be right next to his foster mommie. 
 
Dax LOVES to go for walks. He needs to be harnessed because he is so excited to be out for a walk, he pulls a little (foster mom is working on it). He's a very calm dog most of the time, and when he's not snuggling with someone, he's happy to be tucked away in his favorite dog bed.
