My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We have one male puppy left for adoption. He is 10 weeks old and ready to go to his new home. The Braque dog is one of the most respected Pointers in Europe and is now being introduced to North America. Seen rarely in the US and Canada, this dog has unique features that make it a handsome, great pet and an excellent upland bird dog.

Adopting a puppy is a big undertaking not to be taken lightly by anyone. All puppies deserve homes where someone is home during the day as babies cannot be left alone for long hours.

It is highly recommended that new families must have a crate to keep their new puppy safe when they cannot watch them. The crate will help greatly with housebreaking as well.

Puppies may chew, dig, bark and destroy things. They are babies after all and have a lot to learn so new families must be prepared and committed to what it takes to raise a Pointer puppy. This means lots of love, patience, puppy obedience class after vaccines have completed, lots of daily exercise, and tons of socialization with other dogs as puppy grows.

If you can provide a home where at least one adult works from home or does not work outside of the house, and you are an active family who loves doing things with your dogs, including hiking, swimming, and lots of time for playing, please consider applying to adopt.
